James Dalton

James received the call to ministry at age 20 after being delivered from drug addiction, a reckless lifestyle, and surrendering his heart to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. After graduating from Central Christian University with a B.A. in Ministry, James served in various capacities within the church (Youth Minister, Outreach Minister, Small Group Leader) and outside of the church (Hospice Home Care (Chaplain), Pathway to Freedom Inc., UAMS Hospital (Chaplain Resident). James brings a unique perspective to Freedom Seekers Ministries due to
his time serving as a Program Counselor/Teacher at Pathway to Freedom Inc. During his time as staff counselor/teacher, James taught course curriculum to inmates at the Wrightsville Unit in Wrightsville, Arkansas, and managed a caseload of 80 inmates consisting of two groups of forty each. As such, James developed an understanding and empathy to encourage the incarcerated to push past their self-imposed limitations and reach unto God for greater than they imagined.
Currently, James serves as a Re-Entry Specialist for Pathway to Freedom Inc. He helps parolees with job opportunities, clothing, housing, mentoring, and various other “wrap-around” services in order to reduce recidivism in Arkansas. He remains passionate about helping others discover their God-given destiny and living out their God-given purpose. He resides in Lowell, Arkansas with his wife, Yesenia Dalton, and their two rescue dogs, Noble and Lilly.
